Flag football is in it's third year at Miller Creek. The 2025-26 season will be the second year of the league formation. The league is run by a volunteer staff member from Kent Middle who oversees the game and referee scheduling. Each participating school fields one team, typically rostered with 7th & 8th graders. Any student (grade &/or gender) that is interested in participating should attend a lunch time meeting (TBD) to sign up, get information and a permission slip. A tryout or no tryout will be determined based on number of participants who show interest and turn in permission slip on time.
Season will run early September-early November. Practices 1 time/week, games 1 or 2 times/week, home and/or away (Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays). Practices begin right after school, games at 4pm. Transportation to away games is not provided by Miller Creek School District so players will have to get their own rides to away games.
