Speaker Bios

Gabe Martin is currently an Oscilloscope Wizard for Rohde & Schwarz. He cut his teeth right out of college designing high speed test boards for all sorts of different clock chips. For the past 13 years he has been helping people make the best measurements possible with oscilloscopes. Most recently you can find him posting helpful videos on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.

David Connor is President of Striper Solutions LLC, providing consulting services for product development and global regulatory compliance. He is a registered IEEE consultant with over 25 years of experience in technology development, product design, regulatory compliance and manufacturing for global products with a broad industry background, including the development of laser products, Small Business Innovative Research, and technology for adjusting astronaut's circadian rhythms. As Vice President of Engineering for ECRM Imaging systems, he developed award winning laser-based scanning products for the global printing industry for over 16 years, including OEM products sold by Mitsubishi, Agfa, Kodak and others. David created Striper Solutions LLC in 2013 and continues to provide consulting services to a variety of industries.

Lee Hill is Founding Partner of SILENT Solutions LLC and GmbH, an EMC and RF design, troubleshooting, and training firm established in 1992. Lee is a member of adjunct faculty at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he teaches graduate-level classes in EMC. He is also an EMC instructor at University of Oxford (England), and for the IEEE EMC Society’s annual EMC Fundamentals program and Global University which he currently chairs. He earned his MSEE in electromagnetics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology EMC Laboratory under Dr.’s Tom Van Doren, Todd Hubing, and Jim Drewniak. Lee sends his kids to school by doing EMC design reviews, noise troubleshooting, and teaching EMC courses worldwide.

Tim Ansaldi is the CEO of Select Fabricators. Select Fabricators Inc. designs portable, collapsible, very high attenuation RF EMI shielding tents, curtains, and pouches. Using state-of-the-art conductive fabrics, filters, and entryways, SELECT manufacturers solutions that meet stringent RF isolation and EMI shielding requirements. They specialize in RF isolation and EMI shielding. Select Fabricators is a leader in the manufacturing of high quality, high performing, RF, EMI, and EMP shielding curtains, enclosures, tents, and rooms. SFI specializes in industrial sewing, sealing, and ultrasonic welding. We deliver a wide array of flexible packaging and precision packaging solutions to customers’ specifications; including cleanroom bags and services, industrial covers, and barrier bags as well as contract product assembly and fulfillment for aerospace, military, security, and industrial customers.

John Weber is a field application engineer with Analog Devices. John's been involved in all aspects of system design for over 30 years. As a field application engineer (FAE) for Analog Devices (and Linear Technology), his primary focus has been power supply and analog circuitry design for well over a decade, dealing with circuit level design/characterization, PCB layout and EMC/noise performance. Prior to working as an FAE, John was involved in detailed circuit design, validation and test in the telecom, military and space sectors.

Isaac Waldron is an electrical engineer with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Isaac received a Robert H. Goddard Graduate Research Fellowship award in 2004, which he used to perform research on active antennas while beginning his M.Sc. studies. Since 2006 Isaac has worked as an application engineer in the engineering simulation industry, where he has focused on solving signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic interference and compatibility problems. He is active in his Catholic parish where he volunteers as a lector and is also an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Aaron Ram, BSEE Clarkson University, has been engineering high performance solutions for 15 years, the last 6 of which have been with Samtec. During that time, Aaron has designed optical media converters, supported precision resistor semiconductor applications, and while at Samtec Aaron has been optimizing high frequency solutions for a wide variety of customers. Aaron supports academic, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications. During his time off, Aaron enjoys building RC vehicles and playing video games with his wife.
