IPv4 :
Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is the fourth version of the Internet Protocol (IP).
It is one of the core protocols of standards-based internet working methods in the Internet, and was the first version deployed for production in the ARPANET in 1983.
Properties of IPv4-Addressing:
- 32-bit numeric address written as four number separated by periods.
- Number range is from , 0-255 (2^8 = 256)
- As 4.294.967.296 possible unique address.
- Computer and networks don't read IP address in Standard form, they only understand binary number such as 1's and 0's.
- As a example IP address : 192.168.1.152
