About Me

My name is Sarah Pollock. I am a fifth grade teacher at Blythe Park Elementary in Riverside. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher even before I walked into the doors of Ames School at age six. The Riverside School District has played an amazing role in making me the teacher that I am today. All of the experiences that I have had through attending Ames, Hauser, R/B, and beyond, have given me the tools I needed in life. I hope to give your child many memorable experiences that contribute to making them a responsible and successful student throughout their educational career.

My husband, David, and I live in North Riverside with our three children, Timmy, Liam, and Nora. Mr. Pollock grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the Chocolate Capital of America, and enjoys fishing. Timmy is a funny and sweet six-year-old. He is in first grade this year and enjoys learning about geography. Liam is an energetic three-year-old who enjoys learning about animals and playing with slime. Nora is the newest addition! She joined our family in March. At six month old, she is a sweetheart! I enjoy cooking and spending time with my parents who still reside in Riverside where I grew up.
