The I & M Canal Field Trip Experience
The I & M Canal Field Trip Experience
On Saturday, October 5th, S.E. Gross students will be offered another Social Studies Experience! The students will explore the I & M Canal and the waterways that helped make Chicago the trade and transportation hub of America. The experience includes a trip to the historic canal towns of LaSalle & Utica, including a boat ride down the canal, pulled by mule! The trip will also include a visit to the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center at Starved Rock and the LaSalle County Museum.

*This experience will require a $6 fee for all those who have signed up for the Social Studies Experience Club. A bus will be provided.
