All About Mrs. Sauerer

Welcome! I am so excited for this school year. I LOVE teaching kindergarten! This will be my 14th year teaching kindergarten in The Albany School District! I graduated Albany High School in 2007. I attended St. Cloud State University for Elementary Education. I am licensed in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. I graduated in May 2020, with my Masters in Education from Southwest Minnesota State University. 

My husband, Paul and I enjoy spending time with our daughter, Elizabeth and our son, Charlie. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, and being outdoors. 

I strive to create a caring environment for students to learn. I love hands-on learning and celebrating successeses of every student. I am a strong supporter of purposeful play. I also believe in positive praise. We are going to have a great school year!
