We are so glad you asked! The term "Guidance Counselor" historically referred to counselors working in schools, however, that term is now outdated as the profession has grown and evolved.
At Haven, we are School Counselors, providing proactive/data-driven support for ALL students within the 3 domains of school counseling (social-emotional, academic, & career development) through our comprehensive school counseling program.
