Lessons & Rehearsals 

Lessons begin the first full week of school, 8/18/2025.

Students will receive one, rotating 30-minute lesson per week, in addition to one static lesson in place of their general music class once a week. The days for these lessons will always be the same, unless Ms. Rejowski changes the days and ample notice is given.

Example: If your student has their lessons on Mondays and Thursdays, they will always have lessons on Mondays and Thursdays.

Important! The times for orchestra lessons will change each week. Lessons are on a rotating basis, so that each student does not miss the same 30 minutes each week. Specific accommodations will be considered, but are not guaranteed. The lesson schedule will be posted on the orchestra website and will be shared outside the orchestra classroom. It is expected that students know their lesson time and report on time to their lesson. How to find the lesson schedule and other reminders will be taken care of during the first week of lessons.

Beginning on 10/02/2025, students will have after-school orchestra rehearsals on Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. These rehearsals are in addition to your student’s regularly scheduled lessons during the school day. The last after-school rehearsal will be on 04/30/2025.

Students will need to be picked up at 4:00 pm, attendance is expected at all rehearsals. These rehearsals are how we prepare for concerts, and are crucial in your student’s success in orchestra. Unless otherwise notified, rehearsals will be every week, please arrange for transportation and prepare for these rehearsals. Email reminders will be sent out as we approach the beginning of these rehearsals, be on the lookout for them.

-Thursday, September 25th (Early Release Day)

-Thursday, October 30th (Day of Concert)

-Thursday, February 12th (Early Release Day)

-Thursday, April 2nd (First Thursday Back From Break)
