Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
This week our students participated in a safety drill with the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. We are grateful for the partnership and support of our local law enforcement as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of all students and staff. Our students did an excellent job following directions and taking the drill seriously.
A quick reminder: next week is a three-day week. School will be in session on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.
We would also like to extend a big thank you to all of our students and families who participate in our after-school clubs. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through some transportation challenges to ensure all students can safely and reliably participate.
📊 Attendance Fact: When students attend school every day, they not only stay on track academically but also build strong, positive relationships with classmates and teachers. These connections create a sense of belonging and make school a place where students feel supported and excited to learn.
Reminder: Monday October 6th will be a late start. Students can enter the building at 9:00am.
Picture Day is coming on Thursday, October 16!
