A Letter from the Principal

Dear Diamond Lake School Families,

Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner and will take place on March 19th. Sign-up information will be sent through ParentSquare on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from your child’s classroom teacher. These conferences will be student-led, and we encourage students to attend alongside you. We look forward to sharing the progress students have made so far and discussing our goals as we head toward the end of the school year.

We are looking forward to an exciting event at Diamond Lake School! Information about our upcoming Pick a Project Day has been sent directly from your child’s classroom teacher. Please be sure to check ParentSquare for details about the schedule and what to expect. We are especially excited to welcome families into the building on March 4th for a special math exploration event. This will be a wonderful opportunity to engage in hands-on math activities alongside your child and see their learning in action.

D76 CARES: At D76, the well-being of our students and families is our top priority. Understanding the critical role mental health plays in student success, we have launched D76 CARES - a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving access to quality mental health services across our community. D76 CARES stands for Community, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement, and Support. Treatment services are initially provided free of charge to district families for up to 8 sessions. Notes from our PTO

Tonight! Family Loteria Night! Please join us for this fun family night of bingo style play on Friday, February 20th, from 6pm-8pm at the West Oak Campus Cafeteria, 26156 N. Acorn Lane, Mundelein, IL 60060. This event is free to play. Prizes will be awarded. Snacks and raffle tickets will be available to purchase.

Next DINE OUT- Luke's Tuesday Feb. 24 from 10 am-9 pm.

Next PTO Meeting- You are invited to join us at our monthly PTO meeting. Tuesday March 17th, 2026 6:00-7:00pm Diamond Lake Elementary School Library. All are welcome to attend.

Save the Date- Nothing Bundt Cakes will be at the West Oak Campus on March 19th from 4-7pm during Teacher Conferences.

D76 Market

We are excited to offer the D76 Market food market to support our school community. This program provides access to numerous nutritional food for the benefit of our families. To ensure we provide the items you need, please complete this short order form.
