Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
Last night’s Kindergarten Concert was absolutely amazing! Our students did a wonderful job, and we are so proud of their hard work and confidence on stage. A special thank you to Mr. Kibbler for once again putting together such an incredible performance for our students and families to enjoy.
🍔 McTeacher Night was also a great success! It was so much fun seeing students, families, and staff come together to support our schools and enjoy time together as a community.
📅 Looking Ahead to Next Week
The ABC Countdown will continue with more fun and celebration as we near the end of the school year.
The Stevenson Art Show will take place on Tuesday Night from 5:00-8:00 pm.
There will also be a Board Meeting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening.
We are excited to celebrate Kindness Day at the West Oak Campus this week on Friday. On this special day, all Diamond Lake School students and staff will be spending the day at the West Oak Campus as we come together to celebrate kindness across District 76.
🎉Important Details:
DLS students will depart at 9:00 AM and return by 1:30 PM.
There will be no staff in the Diamond Lake School building during the day.
If you need to reach us while we are off-site, please call the West Oak Middle School office at 847-566-9220.
Pre-K Specific Information for Kindness Day – May 22, 2026
Please note the following details for our Pre-K families:
AM Pre-K student dismissal will take place at West Oak Campus at the usual time of 10:10 AM.
PM Pre-K student drop-off will be at West Oak Middle School at 11:40 AM.

D76 CARES: At D76, the well-being of our students and families is our top priority. Understanding the critical role mental health plays in student success, we have launched D76 CARES - a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving access to quality mental health services across our community. D76 CARES stands for Community, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement, and Support. Treatment services are initially provided free of charge to district families for up to 8 sessions. PTO Annual Meeting- You are invited to join us at our annual meeting on Tuesday May19th, 2026 6:00-7:00pm Diamond Lake Elementary School Library. Would you like a better idea of what the PTO does? Is there a skill that you would be able to use for the benefit of the schools? This would be a great meeting to attend. At this meeting we will be voting on next year’s board and committee positions. Nominations are now open. Would you like to serve as a committee chair or as part of the executive board for the PTO? Do you have opinions about how the PTO can support our students and schools? There is always room for more.
