Dear Diamond Lake School Families,
Our Kindness Day celebration was a huge success! Our middle school students stepped into leadership roles just as we knew they would and created wonderful memories with our younger students. It was a meaningful event that allowed us to celebrate being part of District 76 and continue building a strong sense of community across our schools.
🇺🇸 Reminder: No School on Monday
There will be no school on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
☀️ Field Day – Tuesday
Tuesday is Field Day, and we are excited for a fun-filled afternoon outside! Please send your child to school with:
Sunscreen already applied
Comfortable clothing and shoes for outdoor activities
A water bottle
Students will be outside for most of the afternoon and will likely get wet during some of the activities. Thankfully, the weather is looking promising, and we expect everyone to dry quickly while enjoying the fun!
We hope you have a fabulous weekend as we take time to remember and honor those who made sacrifices this Memorial Day.
Every day at DLS matters!
Keep shining and #SparkleOn,
Mrs. Sunny Morley
Principal, Diamond Lake School
