Epic - Epic is an online library filled with books to read or video's to watch. Some stories even allow students to have them read to them or have quizzes the students can take to test their knowledge. Epic is available every weekday for free from 7-3 and parents can upgrade to allow 24/7 access if they desire.
Prodigy - Prodigy allows students to practice their math and reading skills while battling the forces of evil! In Math, the students will answer questions from the previous unit to keep skills sharp and in English, they will have a continual review of the parts of speech. This website is free to play but does have a paid subscription with extra features. Parents can also set up an account and link it to their childs to see what they are working on and areas of growth.
Freckle - Students can use this site to review a wide variety of reading math and reading skills. In math, this includes adding and subtracting two and three digit numbers, solving story problems, using mental math, and recognizing coins and their values. In reading, this includes word work, deeper thinking questions and decoding longer paragraphs.
Xtramath - Students can practice their math fluency on. They will be given 6 seconds to answer each question to assess how fluid they are with their single digit math facts. The site begins with addition and graduates students to subtraction as they grow.
