- Active Learning: Come to class ready to participate. Take notes, ask questions, be an active part of the lesson. Never walk away from a lesson unclear or confused. Ask for help if you need it.
- Personal Best: We all have strengths and weaknesses. Be aware of yours and build on it. Never compare yourself to others. Always be true to yourself.
- Trustworthiness: Be the friend that is dependable and honest. Never lie, cheat, or steal because that only hurts you! No one wants to be friends with someone they can’t trust.
- Attentive Learning: Like active learning, this serves to remind you to try and keep your attention on the lesson at hand. Don’t worry about other things. Stay focused.
- Mutual Respect: In our class, we all deserve fair treatment and respect from others. This means respect and fair treatment from the teacher, too.
- Appreciation of Others: As individuals, we are all different and should always celebrate the differences. Bullying or disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated.
