Oncourse works with our single sign on. First - log into your Google profile or your Chromebook. That connects you to your single sign on Google account. Then go to Oncourse -it might be open already or go to Discovery Bookmarks - Oncourse. Click the down arrow to get to the log in button UNDER student log in.
Students log onto the chromebooks with their students.discoveryhsf.org accounts. This is their chrome - google profile. If a students is logged into their chrome profile, the link to oncourse works without having to type in a different password. Many other programs will also work by logging in with their gsuite for education profile in the sign in steps. Brainpop works best by clicking the nine little circles "app" launcher and selecting the brainpop icon.
Check your home network settings and firewall. In some instances the home network blocks the site.
The quickest and easiest way to rotate your screen is to press and hold CTRL + Shift and the Refresh key on your keyboard. The Refresh key looks like a circle with an arrow on it, located just above the numbers 3 and 4 on your keyboard. Each time you do, your screen will rotate 90 degrees clockwise.
Check for updates.
At the bottom right, select the time.
Select Settings .
At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
Select Check for updates.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
Unfortunately, lost chargers are your responsibility to replace as we do not have a supply of replacement chargers. We can repair/replace broken chargers.
