The PSC Upward Bound Program is designed to prepare high school students for post-secondary education. Subsequently, the program's goal is to increase high school graduation rates and post-secondary completion rates for participants.

Upward Bound Program Requirements
Applicants must:
Be enrolled in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.
Attend Discovery High School or other targeted Polk County High School.
Meet qualifying income eligible guidelines established by the US Department of Education and be a first generation college student (parent or guardian has not earned a 4 year degree).
