Senior Timelines - Semester 1 & 2
FAFSA OPENS DECEMBER 1, 2023
The FAFSA requires students and parents create an FSA ID and upload personal and financial information to determine if students qualify for GRANTS (free aid from the government), SCHOLARSHIPS (free aid from the government, schools, or organizations, and LOANS (money from the federal government that must be paid back with interest).
The FAFSA opens on December 1! Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by January 1, but the FAFSA will remain open through winter 2024.

Review the FAFSA process link for vital information, including what documents are needed to complete the FAFSA.
Use the first Federal Student Aid link to create an FSA ID for student and parent (parents may have an FSA ID if a sibling completed the FAFSA in previous years).
Use the second Federal Student Aid link to complete the FAFSA. (FAFSA can be started and saved to complete in a later session).
Review the image 2122 Docs needed to complete the FAFSA. Be ready with all personal and financial information for you and your parents/guardians.
