Acquiring a disability, or living with a condition that is slowly changing what's possible, can shift almost everything at once — how you see yourself, how others relate to you, and how you move through work, relationships, and daily life.
It's a lot to carry. And it often arrives without a roadmap.
Many people come to this coaching space feeling overwhelmed, disoriented, or quietly uncertain. Familiar routines no longer fit. Expectations — your own and others' — can suddenly feel heavier or harder to meet. And underneath it all, there's often the harder question: Who am I becoming, and where do I go from here?
Changes in your body, energy, or capacity that are still making sense to you
Unfamiliar disability language, systems, and entitlements — and not knowing where to start
Real anxiety about work, income, or what the future looks like
Limiting beliefs quietly taking hold during a time of vulnerability
The tension between who you were and who you are becoming
This is not a space for fixing, motivating, or pushing you toward acceptance before you're ready.
It's a steady, respectful space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what is changing — at your own pace, on your own terms.
Together, we can work on:
Making sense of disability language, rights, and entitlements
Understanding how your work and social environments are shifting — and what that means for you
Gently noticing and loosening limiting beliefs shaped by fear or uncertainty
Reconnecting with your own agency, direction, and self-trust
Making thoughtful decisions without being rushed toward premature clarity
I work as a coach, not a therapist, counsellor, medical practitioner, or legal advisor. I don't provide medical or clinical guidance.
What I do bring is decades of experience working alongside people with disabilities, families, workplaces, and systems — and a genuine ability to support careful, honest thinking during some of life's more disorienting transitions.
This is paid coaching work. It asks for a real willingness to invest time, energy, and attention in reflective engagement.
If you're looking for clinical intervention, medical treatment, or free services, I may not be the right person — and I say that with care and full awareness of the economic pressures that often accompany disability-related change.
But if you're looking for a calm, grounded space to think through what's shifting and to start finding your footing again, you're welcome here.
