Establishing Engagement Norms (e.g., "Pronounce with me," "Track with me," and "Gesture with me") to move students from passive listening to active mental involvement. Participants will explore how school-wide routines act as the "secret sauce" to reclaim instructional time.

Applying Guskey's Model of Teacher Change, which posits that often staff beliefs shift only after they witness verifiable success in student outcomes, participants will focus on engineering "quick wins" to overcome status quo bias.

Strategies for Retrieval Practice, Spacing, and Interleaving. We explore how spacing and retrieving content "tricks" the brain into stronger long-term retention compared to traditional "intensive" or "blocked" units of work.

1:50 - 2:50 Session 3: Adaptive Teaching

Replacing "differentiation by task" (which often slows down the learners who need help most) with "differentiation by support." Participants will learn to use the "Mild, Medium, and Spicy" paradigm to ensure there is a "low floor" for success but no ceiling on student achievement.
