DIS-EV ECA Club

Daffodil International School-English Version has an incomprehensive ECA club for nurturing the creative mind of the students and building up different skills. Our ECA club includes cultural club that arranges music, dance and art class, ELC club for improving the language skills of the students, Sports club helps the students to keep themselves physically fit and ICT club improves the IT and computer skill of the students.

Our students are guided by the expert teachers to develop English speaking and improve fluency. Weekly classes are held where students take part in various activities like debate, group-work, pair-work, games and they are encouraged to develop ideas and deliver those in English in front of the class. This activity boosts up the confidence of the students to speak in public without any hesitation. Quiz competition and Extempore Speech competition are arranged annually. Our toddlers participate in the quiz competition and learn to present themselves with confidence from the early age. The Extempore Speech competition aims to familiarize students with diverse argumentative issues and express their ideas in English.

To compete and adapt with the digital era, DIS-EV encourages students to improve their technical skill. Guided by an expert teacher, our students learn basic computer skill and programming in the weekly class. Also, our students are competitive enough to participate in different national and international competitions. They have brought glory for the school by taking part in ICT Olympiad, Robot Olympiad and ICT Carnival. ‘My-Kids’, a specialized program on improving computer literacy of the junior students organizes course and certificate is given for the successful completion of the course. Our female students have proven their efficiency by engaging in National Girls’ Programming Competition. 

Physical health of the students is one of the top priorities of DIS-EV. Therefore, students play different indoor and outdoor games like chess, caram, basketball, cricket in the weekly sports class. They are also taken to the field once in a month to practice games. The annual sports competition is one of the attractive events of DIS-EV where students take part in badminton, marble spoon competition, cock fight etc. Another unique feature of our school is Karate class. Our expert teacher guide the students to learn self defense techniques as well as to flex their muscles. Students appear in proper uniform in the class. Sometimes they also display the learned features in the annual sports display and mesmerize the audience.. 

It will not be an exaggeration to say that our students are perfect all-rounder. Students are welcomed to expand their creative pursuit and nurture their artistic minds. They learn to explore the magic realm of music at the early age with the guidance of an expert teacher. Their bodies move in various angles learned from the dance class. Art classes are also arranged weekly to paint their imagination with the strokes of brush and color. Annual cultural programs are held to showcase creative potentials of our student’s which they find very amusing.
