MED Internships

Internships allow students to spend time at a particular work place, however, they are not “jobs” in the traditional sense. They are learning experiences. The common underlying principle is that internships expose students to meaningful learning experiences that show the relevance of what they are learning in high school, while teaching them about what it means to have a job. This will help in their development of an education and career plan for the future. An internship is a chance for students to use a “business classroom” to connect with what is happening at school, add value to the educational experience, and clarify the vast number of options available.
