Short bio & research interests
I am an Assistant Professor in Telecommunications at the University of Calabria working within the Department of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics and Systems (DIMES).
In 2005 I have been visiting researcher at CCSR (Centre forCommunication Systems Research) University of Surrey - Guildford - UK, working on Cost and Demand Sensitive models for evaluation of SDMB (Satellite DigitalMultimedia Broadcast) service over integrated satellite-terrestrial UMTS networks.
In 2006 I have been visiting researcher at Broadband and Wireless Networking Laboratory - Georgia Institute of Technology - Atlanta-USA, working on adaptive and responsive transport protocols for Wireless MeshNetworks.
In the last few years, I have been involved in several national and international research projects and I authored many international publications including journals, conferences and book chapters on wireless and mobile systems, protocols, modeling and simulation.
My main research interests include:
