Our goal is to leverage sophisticated data analysis and innovative methodologies to serve the scientific community and our local territory, transforming complex biological and clinical data into actionable insights for better health outcomes.

Education & Students

We're committed to nurturing the next generation of bioengineers and health innovators. BioHER serves as a vital training ground for students from our new Biomedical Engineering program, as well as students from Medicine and Surgery, Ph.D. candidates, and postdoctoral researchers.

We offer hands-on experience and support in areas like bioimaging, fostering an environment of collaborative learning and scientific growth.

Society & Science

Our lab actively contributes to the scientific discourse, aligning with key societies such as the Italian Society of Medical Bioinformatics (SIBIM) – where our leadership is integral – and the Italian Society of Telemedicine (SIT), playing a key role in developing AI guidelines for telemedicine.
