In Theme 1, children learn all about school! Children are introduced to My New School and they learn the importance of Making Friends, Learning Together, and Getting Along.

In Theme 2, children learn about families. Children begin the theme by exploring Who’s in My Family and gradually explore Taking Care of Each Other, Family Fun, and All Kinds of Families.

In Theme 3, children explore and learn about their community. Children explore Places We Go, People We Meet, and Things That Move in the community, as well as the importance of Going Green!

In Theme 4, children discover awesome animals! Children learn about All Kinds of Animals and Animal Homes, explore Creepy, Crawly Insects, and learn how Animals Grow and Change.

Attention, Children explore the world of animals by paying attention in their environment and being attentive during learning activities.

In Theme 5, children learn all about creativity. The first week, Using My Imagination, encourages children to imagine all kinds of things, and the theme expands as children explore Tools We Use, Things We Build, and Art All Around Us.

In Theme 7, children investigate nature and the environment. Throughout the theme, children explore How Do Plants Grow?, What’s in the Sky?, Our Weather, and The Seasons.

In Theme 8, children look forward to new things and look back on the past year in PreK. Children learn about Going New Places and Trying New Things and recognize their growing confidence in I Can Do It! and We’re Big Now!.
