Teacher Biography
Hello, my name is Jarred Krueger and I am the Parkview Elementary Physical Education Teacher. This is my 14th year as a PE teacher. I'm originally from Whitefish, Montana. In 2011, I graduated from Montana Western with my Bachelor's Degree in K-12 PE. Since then we have called Dillon our home. I enjoy health and fitness, sports activities, and everything the great outdoors has to offer.
I am excited to be able to work with the youth of Dillon. PE is a great place to become healthier, work with others, overcome challenges, create goals, and learn and try new things. We will be covering a wide variety of topics and activities this year in PE. Many of the units we will build from fundamentals and skills all the way to putting the skills to use in the main activity/game. Alongside with the physical component we will be developing and building teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and respectfulness. My overall goal for the students in PE is to develop an interest in healthy activities and to become more active outside of the classroom and school which will eventually create lifelong healthy habits.
Things To Bring to PE:
Athletic shoes, athletic attire, water bottle, sweater/jacket (weather permitting to be outside) and a SMILE!!!
Some of the activities we will be covering are:
Exercise and Holliday fitness challenges, many different kinds of ball sports, relays, mini challenge stations, track and field, hockey, lacrosse, scooters, and bicycles.
