Monica is a technical project manager and short story writer. We're All Here Now, Together, her story about a robot in the Visayas in the year 2218, is in "Hope is Not Passive: A Quills and Cosmos Press Speculative Fiction Benefit Anthology." She is also published in "Ouroboros" and "CLEF Zine #1" from Capital Letters Eclectic Fiction, Haunt by Michigan State University Libraries, Faoileánach Journal, and Amethyst Review, and she gave an ekphrastic poem reading of "Otherworldly" at Capital City Film Festival 2026. The Community of Literary Magazines and Presses recognized her story "The Forty-First Day: Selurong Arrival" in the 2026 Asian Pacific American Heritage Reading List.
