Rule #1

Rule 1: Always Tell When You Use AI

If you use any AI tool for homework or projects, you must write "AI assisted" at the bottom and explain how you used it.

Rule 2: No AI During Tests or Quizzes

Tests and quizzes must show what YOU know, not what AI knows. Keep all AI tools closed during assessments.

Rule 3: AI Can Help with Ideas, Not Final Work

Use AI for brainstorming and getting started, but the final writing, math solutions, and creative work must be your own.

Rule 4: Check AI Information Before Using It

AI sometimes makes mistakes or lies! Always verify facts with real sources before including AI information in your work.

Rule 5: Ask Permission for Creative Projects

For art, music, or creative writing assignments, ask your teacher first if AI tools are allowed for that specific project.

Rule 6: No Sharing AI-Generated Work as Original

Never pretend that something AI created is completely your own idea. Always give credit where it's due.

Rule 7: Teachers Can Use AI Detection Tools

Teachers are allowed to use software that checks if work was made by AI, and students must be honest if asked.

Rule 8: Learn the Skills First, Then Use AI

Master basic skills (like writing paragraphs or solving equations) before using AI assistance for more complex tasks.

Rule 9: No AI for Personal/Private Information

Don't put private information about yourself, family, or friends into AI systems. Protect your privacy!

Rule 10: Help Classmates Understand AI Rules

If you see someone breaking these rules, help them understand why the rules exist instead of just telling on them.
