Job Training 101

Job Skills Training

At Timber Creek students practice job skills such as learning how to do laundry. We wash and fold the nurses blankets. The other job we do for the nurse is the bulletin boards. We also do other tasks around the school such as shredding, checking the AED's, and sanitizing the desks.

Building Independence

At Timber Creek students use the job skills that they learned in the JT1 program to find employment later. We learn how these life skills will make us more independent in the real world. Being more independent makes us feel more capable of being able to get jobs on our own. Being independent means that you don't depend on anyone else.

tHis website will help us...

This website will help new students to the program learn how to complete the different jobs we have around Timber Creek High school. It can also help students who forget how to complete the jobs we have. We learn job training skills such as doing the bulletin boards, checking AED'S, paper shredding, laundry and sanitizing the desks and chairs.
