Garden Salsa
Ingredients:
6 tomatoes (1/4-inch diced)
1 sweet onion (chopped)
3 green onions (sliced thin with green tops included)
1 jalapeño (seeds removed, diced)
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
8 oz. tomato sauce (canned)
4 oz. green chiles (chopped)
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper (to taste)
For serving: tortilla chips
Directions:
Gather the ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix well.
Taste for seasoning. Place in an airtight container in the fridge for at least 2 hours to let the flavors blend.
Serve in a medium-size bowl alongside chips.
