Where We Go

next level cafe

Students spend time interning in the kitchen at the Next Level Cafe. This cafe is located at the Lloyd George Federal Courthouse. Students receive training for positions within the kitchen and cafe. They prepare food, do the dishes, and keep the kitchen area clean.

Gilcrease Orchard is a historic Las Vegas landmark where visitors can pick the freshest seasonal produce straight from the field. Our students volunteer by harvesting fresh produce, cleaning wheelbarrows, assisting with event setup, and helping keep the grounds tidy for Fall events. Their work supports the Orchard’s mission and preserves a special part of our community’s history.

PROJECT 150

Students volunteer in the Boutique, taking care of stocking, organizing and cleaning clothing and hygiene items. We support their mission: To provide free support and services to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students so they can remain in school, graduate, and build bright futures

THE JUST ONE PROJECT

Students visit TJOP twice a week.

They:

Pack and distribute groceries to Seniors and families in need
Promote volunteerism among your peers
Strengthen our community through helping others
Quarterly social and training opportunities

UNR Garden

Students spend their time learning how to maintain a garden. Students are taught how to grow plants, what plants do well in the environment, and how to take care of the garden.
