Game data is not collected when syncing your Steam level for purchases (only when syncing your library, which is optional)
Steam takes 5-7 minutes to update your profile when updating your privacy settings, potentially delaying level verification

To purchase Game collections or take part in Free Giveaways from Digiphile, you will need to link a Steam account and have a one-time sync for our system to verify your account details. Your Steam account must meet all of the following criteria:
The link Steam account must be Verified/Full status and not Limited account status.

Linking your Steam account is required to purchase Game Collections and take part in Free Game promotions.
We require a linked Steam account:
To prevent abuse and duplicate, fraudulent, accounts.
To unlock certain unique features, like the Exchange, which is based on Owned game status
Linked Steam accounts help us increase security, ensuring as many keys as possible make it into the hands of people who want to play them. We also want to make sure keys stay out of the hands of resellers, as a commitment to our partners who trust us with their keys, which allows us to get the best games and deals possible!

We only obtain public information, which you can control from your privacy settings in Steam.
When syncing your account level to unlock purchases, we only gather:
Profile name
Account level
When syncing your Steam library to use the Exchange, we also gather:
Owned games, only when this setting is public (including associated playtime and achievements)
Important Note: You are not required to set your Game details to Public to make purchases, as detailed below.

Open Steam on your computer.
Navigate to your Profile: Select your username dropdown menu in the top right and select View My Profile.
Edit Profile: On your profile screen, click the Edit Profile link on the right side.
Go to Privacy Settings: In the left-hand menu, click on My Privacy Settings.
Set Profile to Public: Find the "My Profile" option and select Public from the drop-down menu.
Optional: After you verify, you may revert these settings to Private (this is a one-time verification per linked account)
Additional Steps Needed for Exchange & Profile Features (not necessary for purchases)
Set Game Details to Public: Ensure your "Game details" are also set to Public to enable the Exchange
Uncheck Private Playtime (Optional): If you want your total playtime to be visible, uncheck the "Always keep my total playtime private" option.
Friends List and Inventory can remain Friends Only or Private if you prefer.

Important Note: You are not required to set your Game details to Public to purchase. However, you will not be able to Exchange games unless we verify you already own them.

Important Note: Steam takes 5-7 minutes to update your profile when updating your privacy settings. please allow some time before trying verification after changing privacy settings.
Please try all of the following if you are receiving an error when attempting to sync your Steam account level:
Refresh the browser page and try again
Try a different browser if you continue to have issues
Log out of your Digiphile account and log back in, then try syncing again
Verify your Steam account is Public, and level 1, as noted above

You must obtain 100 XP (experience) to increase your level to level 1. This requires a full/verified Steam account, as limited accounts cannot gain experience. There are many ways to increase experience, and more information on that is available here: Steam Levels and XP

Once our community features are implemented, you will be invited to opt-in to share games owned, played, achievements earned, and playtime. However, the default setting will be opt-out until you decide otherwise.

Click the Sync Steam Library button your Games Library. This will unlock the "Add to Exchange" option if you already own the game on your linked Steam account.

Sharing your game library only takes place when you sync your Steam library, NOT when you verify your Steam level during purchases. You can mark individual titles as private within your Steam library. Information for these games will not be transmitted - they will simply register as unowned.
