**Due to manufacturing delays, 6th graders are temporarily using Lenovo laptops until their new laptops arrive.
Complete this NTMS Device and App Support Request Form if your child can't access his or her laptop or other school apps/software programs (Classlink, Schoology, etc.).
If your child can log in to his or her laptop, but is having other issues, do not complete the NTMS Device and App Support Request Form. Instead submit a Help Ticket using the shortcut on the student laptop's desktop, or using this Help Ticket link.
Schoology Parent Account Information and Help Request
Schoology parent accounts are automatically created for all parents who are associated with their student in Skyward Family Access. You can access your Schoology parent account with the email address on record in Skyward or with your parent Skyward Family Access user name.
If two parents are listed in Skyward with the same email, only one parent will be able to log in to Schoology with that email. Also, this is why only one parent will be email Schoology login directions. Schoology login directions are emailed to parents during the first week of school.
If you do not receive an email with your Schoology login credentials during the first week of school or are having any other issues with your Schoology account, please complete this NTMS Device and App Support Request Form.
What is Schoology? How is North Tapps using Schoology?
North Tapps Middle School uses Schoology, a learning management system that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication. Schoology enables our students, parents and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond.
With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s grades and activity on the Schoology website or mobile app. Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment.
Students will login to Schoology through the ClassLink portal. Parents will be emailed their parent account login credentials with directions on how to access their accounts the first week of school. Parents, if you are having trouble accessing your Schoology account or do not receive an email after the first week of school, scan the QR code below and complete the Schoology Parent Account Support Request.
Teachers use the Schoology gradebook, not the Skyward Family Access gradebook. End of the quarter and semester grades will still be posted on Skyward, but all assignment and test grades will be recorded in Schoology. Think of Schoology as the place to go for all student academic matters (e.g. assignment grades, overdue assignments, test grades, etc.) and Skyward Family Access for all student business matters (e.g. lunch account, attendance, etc.).
