About us:
La Diáspora is a Mexican restaurant that celebrates Latin American culture in New York City. From the cuisine — with culinary nods to the century-old Caribbean presence, to the newer wave of Mexican, Central, and South American residents — to the ambiance — hand-painted tropical imagery, lotería game nights, eclectic cumbia, salsa, merengue, and reguetón playlists — La Diáspora is a love letter to the wonderful, unique, and growing Mexican community of NYC, and its admirers.
