The event is hosted by the University of Udine, located in the downtown center of the city.
How to reach the city of Udine
Udine is located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in the northeastern part of Italy. It is approximately 140 km away from Venice and 80 km from Trieste. The nearest airports are Trieste, Ronchi dei Legionari (50 km, 25 minutes by car), Venice Marco Polo (130 km, 75 minutes by car or 90 minutes by train), and Treviso airport (135 km, 96 minutes by car or 80 minutes by train).
By plane, the nearest airports are:
Trieste – You can take a bus from the airport to Udine railway station, which takes approximately 40 minutes. Visit https://triesteairport.it/en/airport/ for more information.
Venice – You can take a bus from the airport to Mestre railway station (Urban Line n. 15, 40 minutes) or use the direct ATVO service (20 minutes). Then, take a train to Udine, which is a journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Visit https://www.veniceairport.it/ for more information.
Treviso – You can take a bus from the airport to Treviso railway station and then catch a train to Udine, which takes about 80 minutes. Visit https://www.trevisoairport.it/ for more information.
By train:
Udine is located on the Rome to Wien line, which includes stops in Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venezia Mestre, and finally Udine. If you are coming from Turin or Milan, you will need to change trains at Venezia Mestre (Venice mainland) station to reach Udine.

By car:
If you are traveling by car, take Highway A4 from Venice towards Austria. Follow the signs for the A23 highway towards Udine/Austria. Take the exit at Udine Sud toll station and continue straight ahead towards Udine centro, the downtown area.

How to reach the event location
By bus:
The main bus stop is at the railway station. You can take several buses (line 1, 2, 3, 14) that will get you to the conference venue in approximately 10 minutes. Please check the bus routes at https://tplfvg.it/it/il-viaggio/servizi-e-orari/.
By taxi:

By car:
If you plan to reach the conference venue by car, here are some parking suggestions:
Underground parking at Piazza I Maggio: The hourly fee is 0.70€, and it's only a 10-minute walk from the venue.
Street-level parking near the conference venue: Via Gemona and Via Deciani have parking spaces with an hourly fee of 1.00€.
Free street-level parking is available near Teatro Palamostre, which is a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.
