Paper Submission
Papers can be submitted to CVEMP 2023 in the three following formats:
Regular papers: standard peer review system following ICIAP 2023 guidelines (double-blind format with multiple reviewers) but with a single review step (no rebuttal). Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), Springer.
Extended abstract: new and exciting ideas with tentative or incomplete experiments and results; will undergo a soft review step to check their suitability for the workshop, with no final proceedings.
Presentation papers: works already published on major conferences or journals; will undergo a soft review step to check their suitability for the workshop, with no final proceedings.
With the addition of Presentation and Extended abstract papers we hope to encourage dissemination and discussion of recent findings as well as novel and exciting ideas regarding the workshop subjects.
Regular and Presentation papers must have a number of pages equal to 10+2 (references).
Extended abstract papers are expected to be 2+2 (references) pages.
The submitted manuscripts should be formatted using the provided template. Authors can proceed with the submission through the Easychair system at this link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cvemp2023
Submitted papers must be anonymized by removing the author's names and affiliations; in the provided template it is sufficient to comment the \author, \authorrunning and \institute lines.
That information must be included by enabling these lines in the camera-ready paper after paper acceptance.
We encourage authors to open-source their experiment's code, suggesting the use of GitHub anonymization tools such as https://anonymous.4open.science.
Accepted papers will be presented during the CVEMP oral session upon registration of the author to the Workshop/Tutorial - 2 days.
Authors will present their work with a 10 minutes oral presentation; an optional poster session will be planned on the basis of the number of accepted papers.
