Call for Papers

We solicit submissions of papers covering any aspect of interest for Adjustable Autonomy and Physical Embodied Intelligence. Recent work currently submitted to or accepted at other conferences and/or journals is also eligible for presentation.

Typical contributions relate (but are not limited) to the following topics:

• Humans and AI

• Knowledge Representation and Reasoning

• Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning

• AI and Robotics

• Logic-based approaches for AI

• Fairness, Ethics, and Trust

• Multi-Agent Systems

• Human-Robot Interaction and cooperation

• Embodied Intelligence

• Robot Learning

• Planning, execution and monitoring for autonomy

• LLMs for embedded autonomy

• Experiences in deploying embedded autonomy, from conception to maturity in practice

Accepted papers will be presented in-person during oral sessions and/or an interactive poster session. 

At least one author needs to register and be present at the venue for each accepted paper.

Contributions must be submitted via the CMT System https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/AAPEI2024/Submission/Index  and must be formatted using the new CEURART style.

Important Dates (deadlines are intended AoE: 11:59PM UTC-12:00)

• Submissions open: April 8, 2024

• Submission deadline: May 15, 2024 Jun 9, 2024

• Notification: July 1, 2024

• Final version due: Sep 1, 2024

• Workshop: Oct 20, 2024

Submission Options:

• Extended Abstract: 2 to 4 pages, not included in proceedings

• Short Paper: 5 pages (excluding references and acknowledgments)

• Regular Paper: 6 to 10 pages (excluding references  and acknowledgments)

Papers will be peer-reviewed in single-blind mode

Proceedings:

Accepted short and regular papers will be made available as CEUR workshop proceedings, unless authors opt out.
