A fascinating journey through the centuries.

The video-tour will show amazing examples of integration between ancient and modern and how in an historical city as Rome both aspects are combined in a short distance.

We will start from the majestic Tempio del Divo Adriano, erected by Antoninus Pius for the emperor Hadrian, who was deified after his death. The imposing remains are incorporated into the building built by Carlo Fontana in 1695 for the Vatican Customs House.

In 1800, thanks to a further transformation carried out by Virginio Vespignani, the Temple of Hadrian became the seat of the Stock Exchange. Today it houses the Chamber of Commerce.

The Column of Marcus Aurelius stands imposingly in front of the Montecitorio palace. We will admire its spiral relief and the bronze statue of Saint Paul added in the late 1500s.

Piazza S. Ignazio is one of the most beautiful squares in the historic center. It was built in 1728 by the architect Raguzzini, whose intent was to recall a theatrical stage.

We will end with the Alberto Sordi Gallery (former Colonna Gallery) to conclude with an immersion in the late nineteenth century city
