Previous Schools: Dilworth Elementary School (2002-2012) and McKinley Elementary in Fargo (2001-2002), prior to that I subbed in Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and DGF Public Schools for a year

Education: BS degree from Moorhead State University (Go DRAGONS!), master's degree from Hamline University (Go PIPERS!)

Family: husband, Bill, daughter, Callie (a nurse in Maine; she graduated from UND - Go SIOUX!), and son-in-law, Joe

Hobbies: spending time with my family, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and, yes, teaching!

Top 5 things that I admire in my students:

1. Honesty

2. Being respectful of everyone, no matter what their strengths and weaknesses are

3. Hard work even when things get difficult (perseverance)

4. Being prepared for class (organization)

5. Laughing at my jokes. :)

1. Laughing at someone else's mistake(s)

2. Disrespecting others

3. Blurting out

4. Sharing off-task stories to purposely get the class off track and distracted

5. Not laughing at my jokes :)
