The Economic Research Unit (ERU) Microsite aims to be the main portal of the Department’s source of accurate, reliable, and timely economic and statistical data, infographics, publications on economic updates, and digests. It also serves as a platform for relevant economic data requests, such as updating of infographics and accessing statistical data
The ERU, under the Office of International Economic Relations (OIER), creates and maintains database on relevant economic indicators, and provides statistics and data analysis to various DFA offices and Foreign Service Posts (FSPs).

The bilateral economic ties between a a specific country and the Philippines are detailed in this section. Economic statistics contain information on trade, tourism, merchandise trade, OFW cash Remittances, and investments.

Publications
This section consists of Economic Agreements that the Philippines entered into on areas such as Trade, Investment, Taxation, Social Security and others. The copies of available data are derived from online sources and DFA offices.
It also consolidates copies of Philippine Development Plan and Philippine Economy Highlights and Reports that is relevant to Economic Diplomacy.

Data Request
FSPs may utilize this section to request for an additional data that weren't publicly available in the microsite. They may also request for an update on the latest statistics, infographics available and its narrative overview, regional data, and other economic related indicators.
