Baker Elementary School Celebrates School Library Month
Welcome Book Fair!
Baker Elementary School celebrates School Library Month this April. From April 16 - 20, the library will host a Scholastic Book Fair. Teachers will bring students to the library during our special preview days. Then beginning on Monday, April 16, students may purchase books in the morning before school from 7:50 until the morning announcements. The book fair will open in the evening during the PTA meeting on April 19 from 5:30 - 7:00.
Students may bring up to five books from home in good condition to trade with other students. Books may be dropped off in the library during collection week , April 23 - 26. At the drop-off, students will receive a special invitation to return to the Book Swap celebration on Friday, April 27, where they can browse and take home books from the exchange. Students will take home the same number of books donated. Picture books will be exchanged for picture books, and chapter books will be exchanged for chapter books.
