Submit your application. Applications for the 2025 cohort open on May 14th and close on Sunday, June 1st, 11:59 pm Pacific. Expect to spend at least 30-45+ minutes on the application.
💡Selection has historically been highly competitive, so take your time to illustrate thoughtful reflections on your career goals and how joining this program will impact your growth.
If selected, join a 15-30 minute Zoom interview. Based on your written application, selected applicants will be invited to meet with members of the selection committee to get a better sense of your background, motivation and goals, and experience to assess whether the program is a good fit.
💡Prepare to speak about your career journey, how this program can benefit you - especially now, how you have approached your career goals and challenges to date, and how you approach self-growth and reflection.
The selection committee incorporates a variety of factors from both the written application and interview to select a dedicated, engaged, and committed cohort. What are we looking for?
Illustrated senior-level experience: you are not fresh on your leadership journey. You bring senior-level experience to draw from to both share experiences with fellow cohort members and also receive diverse perspectives from your peers. A strong cohort mix ensures each member can give and get from a cohort with deep experience. While you do not have to hold a certain title or manage teams, you should be further along in your career journey to draw from various experiences.
Thoughtful self-reflection that illustrates a desire to learn: a critical component of selection is a clear desire to learn, a commitment to this program, and illustrated examples of how you've been hungry to learn and grow. Consider challenges you've experienced and how you've approached these. Reflect on examples that show a commitment to invest in yourself and your growth. Share examples of experiences where you have followed through on commitments or overcome challenges.
Your goal exploration: you can clearly articulate what you are working towards and the value that this experience will have on reaching your next milestone. Even if you do not have a clear cut career goal, you can identify where you are blocked, what would help you succeed, and speak to transitions that would make this program valuable for you. We seek to select a cohort whose goals or growth are aligned with the program focus.
Commitment: each selected cohort member brings unique value to this experience. We are seeking deeply committed and engaged members who can show up for each other consistently throughout the program. Selecting a strong cohort means that each selected member is equally committed to learning together. Consider whether you can fully commit to this experience, which includes dedicating at least 3-5 hours per month to workshops and virtual sessions, traveling to in-person retreats, and actively reading/responding to communications.
Coach-ability: this program offers many avenues to self-reflect and grow, especially by working with certified coaches and connecting with industry leaders (who are generous with their time and willing to share their expertise). A strong cohort reflects members who are willing to self-reflect with awareness, be open to feedback, and absorb new or different approaches. Consider how you work with others, how you show up in conversation and in communal spaces, and whether the outcomes of this program match where you are looking to grow.
