Starting school year 2023-24, we are joining Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program. All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school. Please help your school and complete an application for other funding tied to the Application for Education Benefits.
Milk taken for a Lunch brought from home, Extra milk and other Ala Carte options still incur a charge.
Your account must maintain a positive balance for purchasing these items.
Data collected through l free and reduced meal applications is vital to you and your district.

You will need to put your login and password on that page. If you do not know your login and password, please email Kim Holt at kholt@detlakes.k12.mn.us
After you login, select one of your children's names at the top. This will allow you to access the Food Service tab on the left. Then in the upper right corner, select Add Application

Login to the Detroit Lakes Online Payment Portal
**If you do not have an account set up you can click on "Create Account". Once your account is established, hover over the My Accounts tab and select My Settings. From there you can add a desired debit/credit card for online payments.**
2. Hover over the SHOP drop down menu and select Food Service. You can check your balance and add funds by selecting "Make One Time Payment".
3. From there identify the amount you would like to add to your account and select "Add to Cart".
4. Next click on the Check Out button which will bring you to a final screen to "Review and Submit" your payment.
Families can also access Online Payments by logging into their Skyward Family Access account and selecting Online Payments in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Deposits can also be made at the office of each school.
