GIRLS AUDITION SCRIPT

It is Elle’s first day at Harvard. She joins a group of fellow students who are sitting, sharing something about themselves. It is Elle’s turn to introduce herself to the group.

ELLE

Me? Okay. (she stands) So I’m a Gemini with a double Capricorn moon and I have a Bachelors from UCLA where I was president of Delta Nu Sorority. I was also Sig Ep Sweetheart and founded the charity Shop for a Cause.

Oh! And last week in Fred Segal, I talked Beyonce out of buying a truly heinous cable-knit tube top. Whoever said tangerine is the new pink is seriously disturbed. Oh and this is Bruiser. Bruiser is like family to me. We go everywhere together. His favourite programme is Days of our Lives. He just loves a drama. (Elle spots Warner (er Ex) walk passed the door and is instantly distracted. She starts moving towards the door waving) Warner! Warner! Hi Warner, it’s me Elle. Hello (Warner does not see or hear her. She excuses herself from the group and runs after him)
