Meet our Founder
James Deskins has worked in the construction industry since 2002. Starting as a carpenter's helper for a local contractor after school, he steadily grew in knowledge and skill, eventually becoming a residential and then a commercial Project Manager for a well respected Roanoke firm. In the Summer of 2019, James and his wife Sara launched Deskins, Inc. with a vision for creating a company whose employees are proud to call home, and whose customers are grateful to partner with.

A company is only as good as its people, and that starts at the top. James believes in taking caring of his employees by equipping them, through training and experience, to do their job well so that they can enjoy going home to spend time with their families. This goal overflows to our customers by ensuring that everyone at Deskins, Inc. is wholly devoted to their care and the successful completion of their projects.

Implementing smart and efficient management systems take a good company to a great one. James believes in the importance of investing in the long term structure of his company in order to ensure that his vision for employee and customer satisfaction can be responsibly fulfilled.
