Jamie Rodriguez

Jamie Rodriguez is a fourteen year old freshman at Palm Desert High School. This is her first year of being part of Journalism. She joined because she enjoys writing and learning about different topics to further educate herself. Therefore, she likes to write World articles because she doesn’t have much time in the day to read or watch the news, so being able to sit down to research and write about the things that are going on in the world around her is great. To add on, she also likes to write Opinion articles whenever she develops an opinion about something that is going on in the media. Jamie loves dance, music and traveling. In the future, she plans to continue traveling and to revisit places to see the beautiful landmarks this world has to offer. When she is not at dance, school or traveling, she is at home stretching while rewatching Swan Lake or the Nutcracker (those are her favorite ballets). She loves spending time with her family and going running with her dog Toby.
