THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE IS IN REGARDS TO THE 2024-2025 TRYOUTS.
MANDATORY PARENT / CHEERLEADER MEETING:
Tuesday, March 19th, 2024
or
Thursday, March 21st, 2024
IHS Lecture Hall @ 6:00pm
If you did NOT attend one of the two meetings, you can NOT tryout. The meeting is mandatory and the 1st step for eligibility to tryout.
Physicals and Athletic Clearance MUST be completed in order to attend practice and athletes MUST be cleared by 04/09/2024 (first day of tryouts)
TRYOUT DAYS:
Tryouts for our 2024-2025 season will start on April 9th and end on April 12th!
Athletes must be cleared before practicing on athleticclearance.com and must show a digital or hard copy of their Q3 and Q2 Grade Reports from the 2023-2024 school year.
IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS / FORMS:
**Bring a digital OR hard copy of your Q3 AND Q2 report card grades
(Read and Complete Constitution before filling out General Info Form)
(Includes interview questions)
ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PROCESS - MUST COMPLETE BEFORE ATTENDING THE FIRST DAY!
Please remember, the Athletic Clearances must be updated every new school year and the athlete/s must be CLEARED in order to participate in any sport here at IHS!
The office cannot and will not clear an athlete if they are missing information or have not uploaded all the required documents.
If this is your first time using AthleticClearance.com, your parent will need to click register and create a username and password. This is what you will use to log in and renew for each sport and year.
★ You will choose the 2024-2025 school year. If the next school year is unavailable, you may select the 2023-2024 school year, but will have to repeat this process again once the system rolls over to 2024-2025 school year, but you can use the same physical!
★ Choose Indio High School (CIF-SS) as your school
★ Select the sport you wish to try out for (Traditional Competitive Cheer)
★ Fill out all required information
★ Enter medical history information
★ Upload a copy of your COMPLETED physical
★ Upload a copy of your Insurance Card
★ Upload your proof of your completed Baseline Concussion test
★ Upload a copy of your CONFIRMATION page under "ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS"
*All required information and documents must be filled out and uploaded to your account or else you will not be cleared*

To receive a link for your Baseline Concussion Test, please attend the Student/Parent Information Meeting on either March 19th or March 21st.
