I serve currently as an APEX Learning Instructor at Palm Desert High School, one of the highest-performing academic high schools in the Coachella Valley and ranked as one of the TOP high schools in the country (top 8%).

Up Close and Personal:

Now comes the important information: I am very happily married to Elisabeth, my eternal companion. Our lives have been abundantly blessed by our three college-age children: Andreya, Christyne, and Ayden. Our eldest, Andreya will be in her final year at BYU-Idaho, Rexburg, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Communications. Our middle daughter, Christyne will be a junior this 2023-24 school year at BUY-Idaho, Rexburg, majoring in Food Science. Our youngest, Elder Ayden Macavinta (see family photos) is serving a 2-year mission for our church as he completed his freshman year at BYU-Idaho, Rexburg. 

All our college-age children graduated from PDHS where their education and learning have allowed them to excel at their university! In my "spare" time, I enjoy reading and studying personal development, business, technology, as well as global events. My favorite times are just being able to hang out with my wife and children and observing their activities as they grow and develop their talents. Also, I am a die-hard competitive pickleball player and former ATP world-ranked tennis player in my twenties.

In addition, I am a real estate broker with eXp Realty of California, Inc., where I have sold over $12 (USD) million in personal sales volume to pay for my kids' colleges, missions, and future marriages.
