I continue to be EXCITED about teaching at Palm Desert High School (PDHS) this school year! It is the BEST high school in the Coachella Valley in many areas. This is my 26th year at PDHS and my 30th year as a high school educator. This will be my final year - Oh how times flys by...I will miss the many special experiences that unfolded these last 30 years as an educator!

My overall strategy is to inspire, motivate, and encourage students to develop within themselves the proper thinking and proper attitude so they can be successful in my class, in other classes, and in life after high school!

I purposefully provide them with the mental and emotional tools and ideas that empower them. For example, I will share with them two thoughts, "They can either pay the price of discipline or pay the price of regret." Many students need to understand the "compounding effect" of effort each and every day over time will reap many benefits for their academic success and their pursuit of a happy life.

I will confidently convey this concept throughout the school year as I inspire, motivate, and encourage each student to give it their BEST EFFORT in ALL they DO so they MAY REALIZE the POTENTIAL that is in them!!!
