The following is a constantly-evolving list of mostly local (in the Grand Junction, Mesa County, Grand Valley, Western Slope, Western Colorado area), as well as some not-so-local-but-still-quite-useful, resources, establishments, groups and services that I'm aware of. If you have an experience with any of the services listed below that feels less than helpful in any way, please let me know and I will reach out to them to discuss the concerns and may ultimately remove them from this list. Stacy is "a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who holds certificates in Animal Assisted Social Work and Canine Assisted Intervention Specialist from the University of Denver’s Institute for Human Animal Connection. Stacy has worked in mental health in the western slope community along with her four legged co-therapists, for the past 10 years in schools, non profits, residential facilities and juvenile facilities."
