School-Located Influenza Clinic Fall 2026 (students only)

The flu vaccine will be offered at your child's school through the School-Located Influenza Program this

fall. This program makes it easy and convenient to keep your child, the school, and the community

healthy throughout the year.

The flu shot and nasal spray (FluMist®) will be offered as available.

Your school’s flu clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 29th in the morning for both elementary and MSHS. Registration is required and will only be available from now through Sept 9th at 11pm. LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Important information to know:

Registration is required to receive the flu vaccine.

Registration forms will not be accepted after September 9th.

Non-medication pain-reducing options will be available.

Health insurance will be billed. If you don't have health insurance, your child can still get the flu

vaccine at little or no cost.

Online registration is preferred. Paper registration forms will also be available on meet the teacher conference days.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone 6 months and older get

vaccinated for the flu yearly. The ideal time to be vaccinated is before the end of October and flu season

gets underway. This is an easy and convenient way to keep your child, the school, and the community

healthy throughout the year.

The School-Located Immunization Program vaccinates children for flu at school, including most schools

in Olmsted county, as well as Kasson-Mantorville, Hayfield, and Triton Schools in Dodge county, Pine

Island Schools in Olmsted/Goodhue county. The program also includes most schools in Mower county

and some schools in Le Suer or Waseca counties.

The program intends to offer flu vaccinations in schools in the fall and program leaders are working with

the schools to prepare for these clinics. Watch for more news and any updates later this summer at
